Background and Overview
You learned that a one-to-one relationship is defined as a relationship that exists when zero or one instance of entity A can be associated with zero or one instance of entity B, and zero or one instance of entity B can be associated with zero or one instance of entity A. You also learned that 1:1 relationships are rare in the business world.
