Enter data in the Clients table

Objective: Enter data in the Clients table in Microsoft Access.

Instructions

Open your Consulting database and open the Clients table in Datasheet View. Enter the records shown below. As you work, practice efficient data entry:

  • Use Tab to move to the next field and Enter to move to the next record.
  • Use Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V to copy and paste repeating values.
  • Use Ctrl+' (Ctrl + apostrophe) to copy the value from the same field in the record above when a value repeats down a column (for example, Address, City, State, or Zip).
  • If you make a mistake, click back into the cell and correct it. Access saves changes automatically when you move to a different record.

Use the table below as your source data. Enter each row as a new record in the Clients table.
