A domain is the set of permitted values for an attribute. Its implementation includes a data type and appropriate constraints; a domain is not just a type name. Assume a single currency with two decimal places, a required non-negative catalog price, required names and titles, a known yes/no shipped status for the whole order, and an order calendar date. Phone is optional and must preserve its textual representation.
For each attribute, give its value category (such as text, exact decimal, Boolean or date) and one relevant rule or reason for the choice. SQL type names are optional.
A phone number is an identifier used for contact, not a quantity for arithmetic. Consider leading zeros, a plus sign and an agreed format. Distinguish false from an unknown or missing shipped status.
Award up to 5 points for each of the six attributes: 3 for a suitable value category and 2 for a matching domain rule or justification. The total is 30 points. Equivalent type names are acceptable when their meaning is clear. This is a self-assessment; the page displays a model answer and does not grade free text.
