Objective Select and resize controls in Form Design view.

Select and Resize Controls in Form Design View

Although AutoForms and forms created by the Form Wizard are a good start, they do not always come out exactly as you would hope. In particular, you may find that the controls are the wrong size and in the wrong place. These problems are relatively easy to fix in Form Design view.

Selecting Controls

To move or resize a control, you first must select it in Form Design view. Selecting a control is relatively easy--just click it. A selected control appears with little boxes, called handles, all around its perimeter.

You can select multiple controls and move and size them together. Select multiple controls in one of the following ways:
  1. Click and drag to draw a box around all the controls you want to select.
  2. Click the first control, then Shift-click any additional controls.

Resizing controls

To resize a control all you need to do is click and drag one of the handles, much like resizing a window.
